The Sonora Lady Broncos pulled away down the stretch for a 40-32 win over Cornerstone Christian in San Angelo.
Sonora trailed 20-16 at halftime and 27-25 entering the fourth quarter, but the Lady Broncos outscored Cornerstone 15-5 over the final eight minutes.
Sonora was led by Jackilyn Sykes with 16 points and Audry Nolen with 10 points.
Karah Martinez turned in a nice all-around effort with nine points, six rebounds, three steals and a block.
Cornerstone was led by Hannah Slate, who had 17 points, six rebounds and two steals, while Vanessa Viggers added 13 points and four steals.
